Council
|
Council is comprised
of the chairs of each of the Boards, three members-at-large, the moderator,
two associate moderators and the pastor. Council provides overall
coordination and management of the church. Specific issues such as
the budget will be taken to a Congregational Meeting as the congregation,
as a whole, remains the final decision making body.

Deacons
|
The Board of Deacons consists of 12 members who serve 3-year terms (4 are newly
elected each year). They assist in leading worship; Organize inreach
efforts to parishioners; Plan special programs such as the Lenten
Series; and enhance the spiritual life of the church.

|
Trustees
|
The Board of Trustees consists of 12 members who serve 3-year terms (4 are newly
elected each year). They monitor the budget which the congregation
approves at its Annual Meeting; oversee the building and grounds;
and provide administrative oversight for the Mayflower Learning Center.

Christian
Education
|
The Board of Christian Education consists of 12 members who serve 3-year terms
(4 are newly elected each year). They are responsible for shaping
and carrying out Church School Curriculum and teaching; develop education
opportunities for adults; and help shape Pilgrim Fellowship Youth
program.

Outreach
|
The Outreach Board consists of 9 members who serve 3-year terms (3 are newly elected
each year). They create opportunity for church to respond to persons
with need in the local community as well as nationally and internationally.
Such responses may be giving financial support or hands on work.

Membership
and Church
Development
|
The Membership & Church Development Board consists of 9 members who serve 3-year
terms (9 are newly elected each year). They implement a greeting and
follow-up program for visitors; Organize new member groups; and work
with new members to help them integrate into the ongoing life of the
church.

Stewardship
|
The Stewardship Board consists of 6 members who serve 3-year terms (2 are newly elected
each year). They enables the congregation to be continuously mindful
of its responsibilities as stewards and caretakers of all God's gifts
and provide opportunities for the congregation to think creatively
about its financing of the church.

|
Ministry Teams
|
We are currently moving much of our day-to-day service to ministry teams
where members and friends commit to a year working in a area of
their interest that will reduce membership on some boards and
eliminate others.
