2026 First Congregational Church
​A Season of Reflection, Community, and Hope

✝️ through Mar 25 – Soup & Sharing (Wednesdays, 6:00–7:30pm) A simple meal and meaningful conversation, sharing how God has been present in our lives throughout Lent. Sign up to bring soup, salad, or bread (sign-up sheet upstairs or let Rev. Doug Gray know.)
✝️ Mar 29 – Palm Sunday Procession followed by Worship Service (10:15am) We begin Holy Week remembering Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem with a palm procession around the building (for those who are able).
✝️ Apr 1 – Tenebrae Service (7:00pm) A shared service with ASEC. A quiet Service of Shadows using scripture, silence, and darkness to reflect on Christ’s suffering. Held upstairs in the sanctuary.
✝️ Apr 2 – Maundy Thursday (6:30pm - Upstairs) A shared Agape Feast service with ASEC. We will eat, remembering Jesus’ final meal and his commandment to love one another. Help is needed with food, setup, cleanup, and speaking roles. Please talk with Rev. Doug about speaking roles. Foot washing (or hand washing) will be offered.
✝️ Apr 3 – Good Friday (Noon & 7:00pm - Upstairs) A shared service shared with ASEC. A solemn day of remembrance. The noon service includes the Stations of the Cross; the evening service offers prayer, scripture, and reflection.
✝️ Apr 5 – Easter Sunday (10:30am) Celebrate the resurrection with a joyful Easter service and Communion, held downstairs in our worship space.
✝️ Apr 12 – Holy Hilarity Sunday (10:30am) A joyful, lighthearted service celebrating the resurrection and the triumph of life, love, and joy.
