Upcoming Events October 17th is Youth Sunday! October 31st, please join us after church as we decorate the sanctuary for the Thanksgiving season.
November 21st: Ken Rockwell will provide us with some interesting historical perspectives from both New England and Salt Lake City! Following the service there will be a special coffee hour hosted by the Deacons. November 27th: Join us at 10:00 am, Saturday November 27th for the Hanging of the Greens. We will transform the sanctuary and eat a few treats as well! November 28th is the first Sunday in the Advent Season. Please consider volunteering to light the advent candles on one of the Sundays in Advent!
December 19th, this is the Sunday for Lessons and Carols. December 24th, our Christmas Eve candle lighting service returns! Won’t you plan to join us for this traditional event? December 26th: There will not be an in-person service this Sunday, but there will be a recorded service on Facebook featuring Janie and our choir.

BYLAWS ADOPTED On May 2nd, our congregation voted to accept the proposed bylaws. On June 6th our congregation voted unanimously to accept the minor edits to our bylaws. Check out the PDF document below to see the finalized version of the bylaws:
EVALUATING THE FUTURE OF OUR BUILDING: First Congregational Church held an informational meeting on Sunday, April 18, 2021, where Council members updated the congregation on the multitude of factors that we must consider in determining our church's future. Attached below, are four PDF documents in which Council members discuss some of the options available to our church and express opinions about them.
COFFEE WITH THE PASTOR: If you’re interested, our pastor holds an informal chat on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM. You’re invited to grab a cup of coffee and join in for some leisurely conversation via Zoom. We will not have Coffee with the Pastor on Wednesday, November 3rd, nor on Wednesday, November 17th.

COUNCIL NEWS: A congregational meeting was held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 via Zoom. The election results are: Moderator: Michael McIntire; First Associate Moderator: vacant; Second Associate Moderator: Bill Brown. We are still looking for someone to serve as First Associate Moderator.

Regular in-person worship has been resumed. There is some socially-distanced seating for those who desire it. The wearing of a mask is strongly recommended for all, but optional for those who have been vaccinated.
